From SMART repair bays and van-sized booths to an external booth for the yard and plug-in extraction, this range gives bodyshops, dealerships and mobile repairers a compliant spray environment. The retractable booths hand the floor back when the job is done.
The SMARTRE-FLEX booths retract. The standard booth folds from 6.83 metres back to 1.88, and the commercial version from 8.8 metres to 2.19, so a bay that sprays in the morning is working floor space again in the afternoon. Where indoor space is short, the SMART-X.T.N. puts the spray bay in the yard as a self-contained steel building, supplied and installed.
Each SMARTRE-FLEX carries a personnel door, a built-in workstation with a paint mixing bench, and semi-clear flame retardant sheeting that floods the bay with natural light for colour work. Where the job will not come to the workshop, the MOBE-X and SMART-EX take a compliant spray environment out to it.
Crawfords added a SMARTRE-FLEX alongside the combi spray bake booth in its new body shop to increase vehicle throughput. Motorclean, which prepares used cars for retail, put two SMART repair booths on part of its car park, so no indoor space was lost and no planning permission was needed.

They are designed to. The SMARTRE-FLEX uses a spark proof fan extracting at 1.80m³/s through two stage filter media, installed to HSG140 paragraphs 222 and 223, with a documented maintenance programme to keep it performing between tests.
Yes. The SMART-X.T.N. is a self-contained external steel building, 7 metres by 4 metres and 2.5 metres to the eaves, with HSG140 extraction. It is supplied and installed for £21,600 ex VAT, subject to location and excluding electrical supply and connections.
The SMARTRE-FLEX work area is 6.83m long, 4.1m wide and 2.4m high, sized for standard cars. For vans and light commercial vehicles, the SMARTRE-FLEX COMMERCIAL gives 8.8m by 4.1m by 3.4m.
