Aircraft maintenance and parts finishing demand stringent safety and quality standards, and hangar space is always in demand. This range builds a compliant spray environment around aircraft parts and ground support equipment, then retracts or folds away between jobs.
The MASTRE-FLEX builds to any size, with length scaling in 1950mm modules up to aviation scale enclosures. Pull the booth around the part or equipment, spray, then fold it away: each module retracts to just 300mm, freeing around 85% of the floor. Choose a dry filter or water wash extraction wall, enclosed with bi-fold doors or open faced.
TCR UK, a world leader in ground support equipment for airports, had a large MASTRE-FLEX supplied and installed at Heathrow Airport in 2017. In 2019 they selected the same specification booth for their new facility at Manchester Airport.

It is the usual reason to choose one. Aurigny, Guernsey’s airline, needed an occasional use booth for respraying panels and propellers in its maintenance hangar at Guernsey Airport, where space was at a premium. Dry filter suits most workloads, with lower running costs and simpler maintenance. Water wash suits continuous, high volume spraying. We recommend a configuration based on your throughput and coatings.
For spraying you need extraction. Pair it with the MOBE-X as the ROLARE-FLEX + MOBE-X system, which gives two stage filtration at 99% efficiency with the exhaust ducted out through a 20 metre hose.
Semi clear reinforced flame retardant PVC, 530g/m² and flame retardant to BS7837:1996. It lets natural light in and keeps the bay visible from outside, and a clear peelable coating option keeps it free from overspray.
